Participate in our COSINE TX workshops to produce lesson plans related to the cutting edge of research 和 technology applicable to physics classrooms.
We hold workshops three times per year. These are the COSINE TX meetings held in October, February 和 June. The fall 和 spring workshops are one day (5 hours of CPE each) 和 coincide with 物理学的一天! put on by the A&M-商务 Society of Physics 学生. The summer workshop is three days (24 CPE hours).

Responsibilities include:
- 参加 three professional development workshops held annually at A&移动商务
- Network with other STEM high school teachers to discuss various aspects of teacher preparation improvement
- Provide feedback to the leadership team
Become a 导师
导师 new 和 future STEM teachers 和 have a positive influence on the next generation of teachers.
Responsibilities include:
- Take mentor formative assessment
- Video conference meeting once a month with mentees (45 min)
- 参加 three professional development workshops held annually at A&移动商务
- 导师s will receive professional development trainings
- Assist mentees with implementation of an action research project into a high school classroom
